Year 6 created footballer’s heads using balloons and papier mache. The results were fantastic and they really enjoyed working collaboratively to make them. Furthermore they researched food from their countries and cooked it, it was delicious!

Superhero Comics
This week children have been focussing on the project ‘Superheroes’. They used the Comic Life App to create their very own comics. The app was easy to use and they had great fun! Here are some examples:
Animation
This week I learnt all about e-safety and how important it is to be safe online. Our task was to create a stop motion animation, based around what we had learnt, using IPADs. Here is the one I created with my partner Mrs. Bashir.

Magna
This week Year 6 have been on an exciting trip to Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham and had a fantastic time learning about the four elements and exploring the different pavilions. Here are some photos.
Writing Stories
In Year 6 this week, children visited the children in Year 1 to find out about their favourite stories. After that they started to write their own stories which they will be sharing with the Year 1 pupils after the holidays. Fun with SPaG
The Year 6 staff invented some fantastic SPaG games for children to play in class. It was great fun!
